Looking forward to seeing how the healthy group looks, if anything they at least seem rejuvenated by Quickley's return

Vivek: maybe their purpose could be a challenge from Coach to keep opposing teams UNDER 100 points, to start?

Give them a goal, then ratchet it down slowly. (Never mind their own scoring.)

Yeah there definitely needs to be more progress on the defensive end but I hope the injuries are the biggest factor. No excuse now with Quickley back and RJ soon so full health should give us a better idea of what they are defensively.

I’m willing to watch this team lose this year on the hope that we can get a TOP 4 draft pick. (Maybe #1?)

So, let’s work on the defensive end Coach Darko!

Your take on Gradey and Ochai are spot-on. They both are playing at about 85% efficiency and that just won’t cut it. Scottie is also about 85% of his true self, probably because of the ankle and maybe because of the illness.

But the overall impression was that Atlanta is a team, the Raptors a collection of pretty good players. In November we were losing because as a team we were just a millisecond off on defense and offense, making everybody just slightly out of position. Now it looks like the players are more disconnected because they don’t have the energy to be as perfect as they need to be.

I have no prescription other than Scottie, RJ, Jak and BB to get together and bolster their collective spirits. Not much of a solution, I fear.
